Elasticity (2016)
A poster I made for my Fall semester Typography 3 class (RISD Graphic Design, Junior year, 2016). I chose the word 'Elasticity' to inform my poster, and had to represent it typographically. I decided that the best method would be to physically make the type using an elastic substance like putty. I made each letter and photographed them in different angles, and then arranged them to create a sense of stretching and spatial quality. The definition and descriptors have manipulated kerning and tracking to make them look as if they were elastic and stretching to the middle as well. Made using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
