Futura Typeface Poster (2015)

A poster I made for my Fall semester Typography 1 class (RISD Graphic Design, Sophomore year, 2015). The assignment was to make a poster for a typeface, showing the type specimens, a paragraph describing the typeface, a quote, and a letter representing the typeface. I chose Futura, one of my favorite typefaces, designed by Paul Renner. By enlarging the 'a', I was able to show the distortion in the original typeface, which actually causes an optical illusion of being geometric. Made using Adobe InDesign.
