Current Progress of UI Development and application of Branding:
Penfriend™ App
Using the prompt "How can design make a difference", I chose to focus my efforts on the lack of integration of foreigners living in Japan and local communities. To that end, I made a brief titled "外人 to 内人" (a play on words of getting outsiders to becoming insiders), detailing my research in this social issue, proposals for how it could be solved, and then focused on the development of one proposal (including developing the user experience and branding components). This culminated in telling the user story of my app/cross-platform service via illustrated visuals. The graphic language developed throughout this process has allowed for further exploration of the service via user interface screens and polishing up various other design facts.
