Soulchains (2013)

(2013) Made of modeling clay, individual parts were created, then painted with acrylic paints, put together, and then varnished. It depicts a man/creature who has locked his soul away to push onwards. It expresses how we hide parts of ourselves and our personalities from other people in order to get on with our lives, despite the pain we might feel. General inspiration came from Tim Burton's 3D animation models, as well as video game character models.
