A typographic calendar I made for my Spring semester Typography 2 class (RISD Graphic Design, Sophomore year, 2016). I first created a 60-step algorithm that would, when followed, make one month of the calendar. I then applied this algorithm to all months and generated the following full typographic calendar. The colors are based off of personal color relationships with the months, and each month plays off of colors from the previous and next months. The dates follow a hierarchy of importance, based on opacity and size. Because of the color effects, a month will always look different in different digital documents and print settings. Made using Adobe InDesign.
