A piece I did for my Fall semester Spatial Dynamics class (RISD Freshman year, 2014). The assignment was to create a wall relief that played with the idea of shapes and how they interacted on several planes. The relief is composed of two tilted planes, with extruding and inverted spikes, placed in an almost symmetrical fashion. The lighting connected the two planes using the extruding spikes' shadows. Made using 3-ply bristol paper.
